3. What server language should be used to develop your site?
It depends on the scope of the project. PHP is good for small and
medium size web projects. CGI/Perl is the most common way to
develop web applications in medium to large projects. CGI with C and
C++ programs would be used for custom applications.

4. What is PHP?
PHP is an HTML-embedded scripting language. Much of its syntax
is borrowed from C, Java and Perl with a couple of unique
PHP-specific features thrown in. The goal of the language is to allow
web developers to write dynamically generated pages quickly.

5. What database technology should I use?
Once again, it depends. If you are running a complex on-line financial
system, then Oracle are for you. If you can describe your
application with a hand full of tables and need speed, then MySQL is
the tool of choice. We have experience with both ends of the spectrum,
so we can size your application and choose the right one.

6. Why should I use a Web Hosting service?
Jupiter Media Metrix reports in 2001 that over one-third of US businesses
hosting their own websites will miss out on cost savings of between 30% and 40%
(between $6 million and $12 million) in the next three years. Jupiter believes
that these companies are spending too much money on: an in-house website support
staff, management tools and bandwidth. Companies that opt for a technology
infrastructure provider and an application developer will cut implementation delays
by 25% to 35%.
